Richard and Sarah are learning the way of the Scuba Diver with the ambition to become Scuba Instructors.

We both think that one cannot have too many qualifications and knowledge, especially when it comes to underwater sports. So after much thought and deliberation we decided to become Dive Master Trainees at Dive In Dahab dive centre.

It was through Dive In that in October 2008 Richard and I got the opportunity to go to Sharm el Naga; south of Hurghada, to help as snorkeling guides for over 100 kids from the Cairo American College. It was a truly fabulous experience, well organised and such a worthy project educating the youth about the marine eco systems of the Red Sea.  Upon our return to Dahab we decided it would be through this dive centre that we get our education, and with the Dahab Marine Research Centre (DMRC) and a resident marine biologist based at Dive In it  gives us easy access to learn more about life in the Red Sea.

So now our time is split between teaching and training freediving and scuba diving....we get to spend nearly every daylight and sometimes night hour in the sea Smile
