The Announced performances are out and it's going to be soo much fun to watch the final event of the World Championships tomorrow! Highest announcement is Bjarte with 203m.

Official Pool Training Day at the AIDA Team WC 2010

The first official pool training day was a quiet one. With most of the athletes present training for their Static performances the only interruptions were
- An athlete bombing into the indoor pool
- A massive thunderstorm which added nicely to the solemn mood of a pool full of inert freedivers.

The results of the constant weight event are complete, just uploading some photos, plus the result sheets. :)
The major story today was Guillaume's encounter with a random piece of rope at -92 metres that was entangled with the competition dive. Scary stuff and Guillaume was not so happy when he got back up after dragging the line further down to -98m before it became too hard work and he decided to turn. ...

AIDA Team World Championships, Okinawa: Results CWT day 1

The results are out, but only of day one of the Constant Weight event. - Could this be a plot of the Japanese organisers to keep the suspense up?
With a benign, if somewhat choppy, sea that allowed all the divers to compete almost without any current, the first competition day was very clean with lots of white cards and just the occasional yellow for sheer aesthetic appeal.
