AIDA 2010 Team WC Static: Unofficial Comments

So, static is over and Grant expects 'major changes in the ranking'. - Well, I haven't been counting points, but it was a very interesting day. Very few red cards, no yellow as far as I am aware and some surprising performances and outcomes.
First, look out for the Danish - they've been doing well today and then they go on to protest Shun's white card. That has a bit of an aftertaste to it, I find.
Then the Kiwi team failed to tell Kerian to take off his goggles, so it was through his goggles that he saw a red card for SP, whereas he had clearly taken off his noseclip. Duh! I'll have a word with him on that one. This shows that coaching is a skill just as important as long statics. Now, coaching is what the US-Americans do really well! Watch Dee Dee Flores take care of an athlete and you just want to lie there yourself.
Then Morgan, who in his Surface Protocol decided to explode "'bouquet" instead of "I'm okay". We'll see if his protest goes through; he might just bring home 81.2 points! [...] and he did! It was mainly his French accent that confused us (the judges) enough to understand something completely different. - Well, you can be as French as you want, a clear pronunciation of "I'm okay" can save you from a bit of trouble and get you that white card right away. It pays to train in English.
Now back to the initial topic. The ranking, the ranking! My, it's close. I don't have the details here, but Dynamic will be an absolute thriller! Soon more here!
