The results of the constant weight event are complete, just uploading some photos, plus the result sheets. :)

The major story today was Guillaume's encounter with a random piece of rope at -92 metres that was entangled with the competition dive. Scary stuff and Guillaume was not so happy when he got back up after dragging the line further down to -98m before it became too hard work and he decided to turn. ...

The entire scene was well visible on the bottom plate video and after protesting, Guillaume was awarded with a white card and the full 102 points that he had planned for.

The jury had yet again a new case to think and vote about that was not covered by the rules nor has there been a precedent for this. Interestingly enough, this outcome was explicitly asked for on the protest form by pretty much all the competing teams, including France's main competitors for the title.

The sport of freediving is still pure and fair.Love it.
