Official Pool Training Day at the AIDA Team WC 2010

The first official pool training day was a quiet one. With most of the athletes present training for their Static performances the only interruptions were
- An athlete bombing into the indoor pool
- A massive thunderstorm which added nicely to the solemn mood of a pool full of inert freedivers.
Ron playing with his DOL-Fin Orca propulsion device was a very interesting sight of course and I do want to have a go with it. Being German - and as such a natural sceptic - it doesn't look that special to me, but I am happy that someone is putting some (in this case: a lot) of thinking and work into underwater propulsion and I am very curious as to how it feels in the water.
Here are some impressions. Note Dee Dee Flores' looking really mean as the storm is brewing - and Sarah's impression of a storm brewing might not be for the faint of heart. You've been warned. :)
